The present invention provides a sealant composition, a method of making the same, a film layer made therefrom, and a multi-layer structure. A linear low density polyethylene composition suitable for use in the sealant according to the invention comprises not more than 100% by weight of units derived from ethylene; Less than 35% by weight of units derived from one or more alpha-olefin comonomers; Wherein the linear low density polyethylene composition has a density in the range of 0.900 to 0.920 g / cm 3 , a molecular weight distribution (M w / M n ) in the range of 2.5 to 4.5, a melt index (I 2 ) in the range of 0.5 to 3 g / (M z / M w ), a vinyl unsaturation of less than 0.1 vinyl per 1000 carbon atoms present in the backbone of the composition, and a zero shear viscosity ratio (ZSVR) in the range of 1.0 to 1.2. |
