Disclosed is an organic EL device excellent in driving voltage, luminous efficiency, and device lifetime using a novel amine compound suitable for a hole transporting material of an organic EL device and a corresponding amine compound. An amine compound represented by the following general formula (1): Wherein X is a sulfur atom or an oxygen atom; R 1 to R 10 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a deuterium atom or a phenyl group; Ar 1 and Ar 2 are each independently an aromatic hydrocarbon group having 6 to 18 carbon atoms, a dibenzothienyl group or a dibenzofuranyl group, and these groups are preferably a methyl group, a methoxy group, a dibenzothienyl group, a dibenzofuranyl group or a 9 - < / RTI > carbazolyl group. |
