abstract The present invention relates to an anti-influenza virus composition comprising an acidic protein fraction isolated from spermicoll oil as an active ingredient and a method for obtaining an acidic protein fraction from spermicoll oil. The acidic protein fraction of bovine colostrum of the present invention inhibited the infectivity of influenza virus in in vitro experiments and showed excellent anti-influenza virus efficacy in an in vivo test for influenza virus-infected mice. Therefore, the microcolorous protein fraction of the present invention can be developed as a raw material for anti-influenza virus drugs and functional foods.
