A resealable beverage container comprising a cap that moves between storage, opening, removal, and reseal locations, using a ramp to increase the opening force generally guided by the coupling between the socket and the cap. An elastic sealing component is disposed on the top surface of the cap so that when the cap is in the fully seated or sealed position, it is fluted or at least substantially flamed sealed so that the contents of the container do not leak. Further, force increasing portions are disposed, including the score line structure on the socket bottom wall, which facilitates predictable repeatable opening of the vessel along the score line. A grip is provided that includes a cap or space into which a coin or other implement can be inserted to allow the consumer to grasp and provide a proper opening force. |
