abstract |
A method for hydrotreating is provided. The method comprises the steps of: providing a material suitable for hydrotreating; Mixing the material with a hydrogenating agent to form a feed stream; And heating the feed stream in the presence of a catalyst to break the chemical bond of the material. The feed stream is heated to a temperature above the temperature at which the catalyst can provide activated hydrogen to react with the cleaved bonds in the material to minimize the coke formed from the material. A system for performing the method is also provided. |
