titleOfInvention | Manufacturing method of abs graft copolymer |
abstract | The present invention relates to a process for preparing an ABS graft copolymer by graft copolymerizing a vinyl aromatic monomer and a vinyl cyan monomer on a rubber latex, wherein the total weight of the rubber latex, the vinyl aromatic monomer and the vinyl cyan monomer is 100 parts by weight (1) adding 0.0001 to 0.1 part by weight of an aqueous polymerization initiator to 50 to 80% by weight (based on solids) of the rubber latex and mixing to obtain a first mixture; (2) 5 to 10% by weight of the monomer mixture emulsified by emulsifying the second mixture of vinyl aromatic monomer and vinyl cyan monomer with 0.01 to 10 parts by weight of emulsifier is added to the first mixture to initiate polymerization A first polymerization step in which the remaining monomer emulsion mixture is added and polymerized; And (3) a second polymerization step in which 0.0001 to 0.5 part by weight of an auxiliary polymerization initiator is added at a polymerization conversion rate of 80 to 90% during the course of the polymerization step, and polymerization is carried out. There is an effect of providing an ABS graft copolymer having improved surface gloss by forming a large amount of graft copolymer having a small particle diameter by injecting a part of the monomer emulsified mixture to be polymerized and charging the remainder continuously. |
