This disclosure provides antibodies specific for epitopes present on CD22. Such antibodies are useful in applications such as various therapies, diagnostics and monitoring, and these applications are also provided herein. The anti-CD22 antibodies of the present disclosure, in some cases, induce apoptosis in cells expressing CD22 at the cell surface. The subject antibody is specifically bound to a CD22 polypeptide wherein the epitope comprises an amino acid residue within the CD22 antigen (e.g., within amino acid 1-847 of the CD22 amino acid sequence, within amino acid 1-759, amino acid 1-751, or Amino acids 1-670). |
