abstract |
The present invention relates to a composition comprising an oily phase emulsified in a continuous aqueous phase, an anionic water-in-oil emulsifier, and a non-ionic water-in-oil emulsifier having an alcohol functionality, said UV-absorbing polyester comprising a composition having an SPF of at least about 10 Wherein the UV-absorbing polyester is a polymerisation product of monomers comprising UV-absorbing triazoles, diiesters, diols and tetrol polyols, wherein the non-ionic emulsifier Wherein the weight ratio of the anionic emulsifier to the anionic emulsifier is less than or equal to about 1.5 and wherein the composition is substantially absent of the non-polymeric UV-absorbing sunscreen agent and the composition has an SPF of less than 2 in the absence of the UV-absorbing polyester. |
