abstract The present invention relates to a monoclonal polymorphism marker for Korean flesh and mortality diagnosis in a LPL gene and a diagnostic method for a Korean beef cattle quality using the same, wherein the 259th nucleotide of SEQ ID NO: 1, the 251st nucleotide of SEQ ID NO: 2, the 251st nucleotide of SEQ ID NO: 3, A polynucleotide consisting of 10-100 consecutive DNA sequences comprising at least one nucleotide selected from the group consisting of the 251st nucleotide of SEQ ID NO: 4 and the 251st nucleotide of SEQ ID NO: 5, or a complementary polynucleotide thereof, To provide a base polymorphism (SNP) marker composition. Further, the present invention provides a diagnostic method and a diagnostic kit for Korean beef cattle using the SNP marker. Based on this, Hanwoo varieties with superior meat quality can be usefully used for early selection and improvement.
