titleOfInvention | Process for producing long circularly polarizing plate and long circularly polarizing plate |
abstract | The present invention provides a production method for producing a thin circular polarizer with high productivity. There is provided a process for producing an elongated circular polarizer plate having the steps of (1) to (6) in this order. (1) a step of continuously applying a composition for forming a photo alignment film on a long polarizing plate to form a first coated film on the long polarizing plate (2) a step of forming the first dried film by drying the first coated film (3) a step of forming an elongated light alignment film in which the direction of the alignment regulating force is oblique to the longitudinal direction of the long polarizing plate by irradiating the first dried film with polarized light in an oblique direction with respect to the longitudinal direction of the long polarizing plate (4) a step of continuously applying a liquid crystal curable film-forming composition containing the polymerizable liquid crystal compound (A) on the long optical alignment film to form a second coated film on the long optical alignment film (5) a step of forming the second dried film by drying the second coated film (6) a step of forming a long phase difference film by curing the second dried film |
