abstract The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition comprising an effective amount of a vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR) -3 expression inhibitor, wherein the inhibitor inhibits VEGFR-3 and simultaneously increases the expression or activity of IFN (Interferon) a pharmaceutical composition for treating acute myeloid leukemia, a screening method for treating acute myeloid leukemia, and a method for providing information for diagnosis of acute myelogenous leukemia. More specifically, the present invention reduces the expression of VEGFR-3 in the inhibitor of VEGFR-3, which is a lymphocyte formation marker, in NK (natural killer) cells, which are immune cells of acute myelogenous leukemia patients, Expression of the VEGFR-3 inhibitor, the VEGFR-3 inhibitor can be screened for the treatment and diagnosis of acute myelogenous leukemia.
