The present invention relates to an organometallic compound comprising a bispospin monoxide (BPMO) represented by the formula (I) and a center metal (M) comprising an element of Group 10 of the periodic table forming a complex with BPMO, A catalyst for synthesizing polyolefins including the compound, and a process for producing polyolefins using the catalyst. According to the present invention, a catalyst composition for polymerization of polyolefins having high activity can be provided.
