titleOfInvention | Complex compounds of germanium, methods for producing same, and drugs |
abstract | The present invention relates to the development of drugs intended for the prevention and / or treatment of viral diseases, in particular viral diseases caused by herpes viruses. A complex compound of germanium having the general structural formula Ge x [AD] [CA] y [AA] z (I): wherein AD is a derivative of a purine-based nitrogen base having antiviral activity and is selected from acyclovir, valacyclo Guanine derivatives such as birr, gancyclovir and penicyclovir, or adenine derivatives such as vidarabine; CA is a hydroxycarboxylic acid which may be selected from (but not limited to) an acid such as citric acid, lactic acid and malic acid; AA is an amino acid that can be selected from a variety of? -Amino acids such as arginine, glycine, lysine and threonine, wherein x = 1-2, y = 2-4, and z = 0-2. Compounds are proposed. Complex compounds of germanium have high levels of antiviral and immunostimulatory activity and can readily dissolve in water. The abovementioned compounds can be prepared by a process comprising the steps of preparing an aqueous suspension of germanium dioxide, a hydroxycarboxylic acid, a derivative of a nitrogen base of the purine series and optionally, but preferably, adding an amino acid, Heating at a temperature of 40-100 DEG C for 3-14 hours, and removing water from the solution to produce a complex compound of germanium. |
