The present invention provides compositions comprising a silane having the formula "(R 1 ) (R 2 ) (R 3 ) Si-R 4 -Si (R 5 ) (R 6 ) (R 7 ) Wherein each of R 1 , R 2 , R 3 , R 5 and R 6 is independently selected from the group consisting of hydrocarbon radicals of 7 to 10 carbon atoms including monovalent hydrocarbon radicals of 1 to 6 carbon atoms, aryl, ≪ / RTI > R 4 is a hydrocarbon group of 1 to 3 carbon atoms; R 7 comprises an anionic, cationic or amphoteric zwitterionic substituent.
