The present invention relates to a powdered flavor composition comprising a compound of formula (1) or a salt thereof, and one or more flavor-enhancing components: Formula 1 In this formula, R 1 is an alkyl residue comprising 6 to 20 carbon atoms or an alkenyl residue comprising 9 to 25 carbon atoms and 1 to 6 double bonds and R 1 forms a carboxylic acid moiety with a carbonyl group attached thereto and; NR 2 R 3 is an amino acid, in particular a proteinogenic amino acid, ornithine, gamma-aminobutyric acid or beta-alanine, or a 1-aminocycloalkylcarboxylic acid residue, wherein R 3 is H; R < 3 >, R < 2 > and the N-atom to which they are attached form a 5-membered ring. |
