abstract In one embodiment according to the present invention, a stent having a generally cylindrical body knitted with a single Nitinol wire is described. The proximal and distal ends of the stent include a plurality of loops, some of the loops including a marker member used to visualize the position of the stent. In yet another embodiment, the stent described above comprises an inner flow-diverting layer.
