abstract The present invention provides a polynucleotide comprising a single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) for the diagnosis of Crohn's disease susceptibility or a complementary polynucleotide thereof, and more particularly, a polynucleotide comprising the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 to SEQ ID NO: 4 A polynucleotide selected from the group consisting of 10 to 50 consecutive DNA sequences comprising the 27th nucleotide (polymorphic site), or a complementary polynucleotide thereof, to a chromosome susceptibility diagnostic marker composition do. The polynucleotide of the present invention or a complementary polynucleotide thereof can be usefully used for diagnosis of Crohn's disease and prediction of Crohn's disease risk as a genetic diagnostic marker of Crohn's disease.
