abstract It is an object of the present invention to provide a process for producing carbon coated metal particles and to provide carbon coated metal particles produced thereby. To this end, the present invention provides a method of manufacturing a metal-on-insulator semiconductor device, comprising: preparing metal particles (step 1); (Step 2) coating the surface of the metal particles with polypodamine by supporting the metal particles of the step 1 in a dopamine solution; And a step (step 3) of mixing the metal particles coated with the polydodamine with the solid salt in the step 2 and then heat-treating the metal particles (step 3). According to the present invention, the surface of the metal particles can be easily coated with polydopamine having good adhesion, and a carbon coating can be formed on the surface of the particles by heat treatment in a subsequent step. In addition, by performing the heat treatment by mixing the surface-coated metal particles with the solid salt, the carbon-coated metal particles that have not been sintered can be obtained. The carbon-coated metal particles produced in the present invention can be introduced into an ink for ink-jet printing to print a circuit of a micro unit.
