The present invention provides a process for the production of fluoroolefins which comprises reacting fluoroolefins in the presence of at least one catalyst selected from the group consisting of chromium oxide containing a Group 5 element and fluorinated chromium oxide containing a Group 5 element, Containing alkene or a chlorine-containing alkane in the vapor phase. According to the process of the present invention, the desired fluoroolefin can be obtained with a high starting material conversion and good selectivity. |
