abstract | The present invention relates to a solution containing a polyamic acid or a derivative thereof obtained by reacting a tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride with a diamine and a solvent, wherein the solvent is a liquid crystal alignment liquid containing at least one compound represented by the following formula (A) Jay. The liquid crystal aligning agent of the present invention hardly causes a change in viscosity at room temperature and does not cause bleaching of the alignment film formed by the cratering or the film at the time of applying the alignment agent. The liquid crystal alignment film formed using the liquid crystal aligning agent of the present invention has good alignment stability of the liquid crystal molecules. Further, the liquid crystal display element having the liquid crystal alignment film has excellent afterimage characteristics. Wherein R 1 and R 2 are each independently alkyl having 1 to 3 carbon atoms. |
