abstract |
Disclosed herein is a process for producing at least one enzyme for the hydrolysis of a first pretreated lignocellulosic biomass under conditions lacking a monosaccharide from a host cell, said culture environment being used to grow and grow host cells Unlike the others present in the lignocellulosic biomass, it has little or preferably no added monosaccharide. The culture environment is substantially devoid of fermentation stimulators and inducers of enzyme production. Preferably, the culture environment has a high dry matter content of the pretreated lignocellulosic biomass. |
