abstract The present invention relates to a structural adhesive sheet for use in a rear view mirror base in an automobile and a method for producing the same, wherein the structural adhesive sheet comprises 20 to 100 parts by weight of nitrile butadiene rubber, 10 to 70 parts by weight of a cured polysulfide adhesive, 5 to 40 parts by weight of a bisphenol A type epoxy resin, 0.1 to 2.5 parts by weight of a crosslinking agent, 0.2 to 2.5 parts by weight of a softening agent, 3 to 20 parts by weight of a curing agent, 1 to 10 parts by weight of an accelerator, 20 to 100 parts by weight of an inorganic filler, 0.1 to 3.0 parts by weight. The above components are subjected to a kneading and extrusion film-forming step to produce the structural adhesive sheet of the present invention. The structural adhesive sheet has excellent film forming performance, is simple in curing process, has high strength after curing, and is excellent in toughness, heat resistance and cold resistance.
