abstract |
One specific example relates to a microorganism having enhanced lactic acid production ability. When overexpressing lactic acid transporter, a protein that transports lactic acid into and without cells, lactic acid production ability is improved. In addition, when the activity of lactic acid oxidase is inhibited and the activity of pyruvate deoxygenase is inhibited, lactic acid production ability is improved. The use of the transformant microorganisms thus prepared can improve the production yield of lactic acid and can be very useful industrially. |
