| abstract | The present disclosure features a high-intensity discharge lamp 10 that includes an electrically insulated arc tube 14 constructed of a light transmission material. The electrical conductors 28, 30 or electrodes are spaced apart from each other within the arc tube. A shroud (12) composed of a light transmission material seals the arc tube. The electrically conductive frame members 16, 18 are disposed within the shroud and are electrically connected to one of the electrical conductors.
