Amine and diamine compounds and their use for inverse froth flotation of silicate from iron ore |
abstract |
The present invention relates to compounds of the general formulas Ia, Ib, IIa and IIb: RO-X-NH 2 (Ia ); RO-X-NH 3 + Y - (Ib); (IIa) RO-X-NH -Z-NH 2; And RO-X-NH-Z- NH 3 + Y - (IIb) In this formula, X is an aliphatic alkylene group containing 2 to 6 carbon atoms; Z is an aliphatic alkylene group containing 2 to 6 carbon atoms; Y - is an anion; R is an aliphatic iso C 13 H 27 - group having an average degree of branching of 1.5 to 3.5. The compounds are particularly suitable as floating collecting agents for concentrating iron minerals from silicate-bearing iron ores. |
