titleOfInvention | Microbial removal filter for ballast water treatment and water treatment method using the same |
abstract | The present invention relates to a microbial removal filter (100) for ballast water treatment that removes microbes including zooplankton in ballast water, including a flow path pipe (110) that has a flow path; a pair of power-supplying electrodes (120 and 130) that are disposed at a regular interval from each other in the flow path pipe; at least one metal mesh filter (140) that is arranged between the pair of power-supplying electrodes; multiple spacers (150) that are disposed between the pair of power-supplying electrodes and the metal mesh filter for interval adjustment; and a power-supplying direct current power supply (160) that supplies a direct current to the pair of power-supplying electrodes through first and second external wirings (170 and 180). According to the present invention, the microbes including the zooplankton in the ballast water are adsorbed and decomposed so that microbial lump generation is prevented from the beginning and a backwash process is rarely necessary. |
