A 4-aminocarbazole compound represented by the following general formula 1: In the formulas, Ar 1 to Ar 4 represent a substituted or unsubstituted aryl, thienyl, pyridyl, benzothienyl, dibenzothienyl, dibenzofuranyl, 4-carbazolyl, dibenzothienylphenyl, dibenzo A furanylphenyl or 9-carbazolylphenyl group; R 1 to R 7 are independently selected from the group consisting of substituted or unsubstituted aryl, heteroaryl, heteroarylphenyl or alkyl, alkoxy, cyano group, hydrogen atom or halogen atom; n is an integer from 0 to 2; X represents a substituted or unsubstituted, (n + 1) -valent, aromatic hydrocarbon group, heteroaromatic group or heteroarylphenyl group. The 4-aminocarbazole compound provides an organic EL device having high luminous efficiency and excellent durability. |
