A method of making a coated textile comprises at least a) contacting a textile substrate with an aqueous dispersion A comprising at least one salt and at least one modified cellulose, b) contacting the textile substrate with a polyurethane, a polyacrylate and a polybutadiene , And c) precipitating the polyurethane in or onto the textile substrate. The salt of dispersion A is an organic onium salt of one or more elements of the fifth ternary group of the Periodic Table of the Elements.
