abstract |
A method of printing high resolution features on a substrate, the method comprising: depositing on a substrate a nanoparticle ink comprising metal / semimetal nanoparticles and an adhesive compound and having a binder; And applying a direct laser beam onto a portion or all of the deposited nanoparticle ink to implement the printing feature, wherein the laser beam removes the nanoparticle coating or binder to cause the adhesive compound to contact the nano- Particles and the laser beam is further configured to deform the ink to form a metal / semimetallic structure. The remaining uncured structure can be easily cleaned and removed using standard developer solutions such as sodium or potassium hydroxide. |
