titleOfInvention Light emitting apparatus and illumination apparatus
abstract According to the embodiment, there is provided a light emitting device including a light emitting portion, a heat dissipating member, and a heat conduction layer. The light emitting portion includes a mounting substrate portion and a light emitting element portion. The mounting substrate portion includes a substrate, a first metal layer, and a second metal layer. The substrate has a first main surface including a mounting area and a second main surface opposite to the first main surface, and is insulating. The first metal layer includes a plurality of mounting patterns provided on the first main surface and provided in the mounting region. The second metal layer is provided on the second main surface and is insulated from the first metal layer. The light emitting element section includes a plurality of semiconductor light emitting elements and a wavelength conversion layer. The semiconductor light emitting element is connected to the mounting pattern. The luminous flux divergence of the light emitting element portion is 10 ㏐ / mm 2 or more and 100 ㏐ / mm 2 or less. The heat radiation member is opposed to the second main surface. The heat radiation member has an area of 5 times or more the area of the mounting area. The heat conduction layer is provided between the heat radiation member and the second metal layer.
