The present invention relates to a process for producing isopropylhydroxylamine (IPHA), wherein hydrogen is added to 2-nitropropane at a pressure of 50 to 200 psi at a temperature of 50 to 200 DEG C in the presence of a specific catalyst. The process being characterized in that the reaction time is shortened while improving the yield and selectivity. |
