| abstract |
The smoking article includes an aerosol-generating substrate made of a flavor-imparting material for thermally releasing the flavor. The flavor-transferring material consists of a polymer matrix and a plurality of flavor components dispersed within the polymer matrix. The flavor composition consists of a flavor mixed with one or more triglycerides comprising at least 30% by weight of triglycerides having at least one carboxyl group having a chain length of 12 or more. The flavoring agent may be released from the polymer matrix upon heating the flavor transfer material to an elevated temperature. |
