titleOfInvention | Identification of Tumorigenic Human Papillomavirus Types by Dual RTA Polymerase Chain Reaction |
abstract | The present invention relates to a primer set for identifying a human papilloma virus type using a double-multiple reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction, and a method for identifying an oncogenic papilloma virus type using the primer set. Since the primers synthesized according to the present invention can specifically detect 25 types of HPV mRNA which are closely related to cervical cancer, the presence and quantification of positive HPV DNA test can be easily obtained at a time . In particular, in the present invention, the sensitivity was improved by about 100 to 1000 times as compared with the conventional PCR method using double PCR, in which 50 primers that generate different amplification products are successively performed, in comparison with the method of detecting HPV DNA. Therefore, the mRNA samples obtained from female cervical epithelial cells can be used for early detection / diagnosis of HPV infection and cervical cancer caused by HPV infection more accurately compared with the conventional PCR method. In addition, the increase in the cancer detection rate according to the present invention means a decrease in the diagnosis of false positive, which is very important because it lessens the anxiety of the disease and the cost burden due to the unnecessary treatment. |
