abstract |
A light emitting device comprises an active layer disposed on a first conductive semiconductor layer; a second conductive semiconductor layer disposed on the active layer; and an electron blocking layer disposed between the active layer and the second conductive semiconductor layer. The electron blocking layer includes a plurality of layers including odd-numbered layers and even-numbered layers alternately disposed. The odd-numbered layers and the even-numbered layers are made of a compound semiconductor material containing at least Al, and the Al content of the odd-numbered layers may be larger than the Al content of the even-numbered layers. |
