abstract |
The present invention relates to a method for diagnosing an increased risk of a subject progressing to Alzheimer's disease by measuring the concentration of a metabolite and comparing it to the individual mean concentrations of a healthy subject. According to the present invention, the increased risk of developing Alzheimer's disease in subjects with mild cognitive impairment can be diagnosed without invasive techniques. |
