Anti-IL28B antibody and measuring method of IL28B using the same |
abstract |
A novel antibody is disclosed that can recognize interleukin 28B (IL28B) in distinction from interleukin 28A (IL28A). According to the antibody of the present invention, IL28A and IL28B having only a difference of only 7 residues as a secreted protein can be distinguished, and IL28B can be specifically detected and quantified. IL28B is expected as a marker for predicting in advance whether or not peginterferon + ribavirin combination therapy can be used to treat HCV infection. According to the present invention, since IL28B can be measured by simple, rapid and inexpensive immunoassay, the present invention can also contribute to the treatment of HCV infection. |
