Radionuclide Detection and Identification |
abstract |
Disclosed herein is a method of processing a gamma ray spectrum obtained from a target. The method includes a Fisher linear associated with the one or more radionuclide sources of interest whether the gamma-ray spectrum of the target belongs to a first class comprising reference gamma-ray spectra of a plurality of classes of one or more radionuclide sources of interest. Determining using optimal load coefficients obtained using discriminant analysis, and generating an output signal in accordance with said determination. |
