The present invention relates to the use of (oxidized) thioethers of polyalkylene glycols in detergents and cleaners, in particular dishwashing detergents, and to detergents and cleaners, in particular dishwashing detergents, comprising (oxidized) thioethers of polyalkylene glycols. It is about. The (oxidized) thioethers are particularly suitable for use as surfactants with a rinse aid function (rinse aid surfactant). The term “oxidized” relates to a sulfur atom in a thioether which may exist in oxidized form as sulfoxide (SO) or sulfonyl (SO 2 ). The invention also relates to certain oxidized thioethers of polyalkylene oxides. |
