It is about. The (oxidized) thioethers are particularly suitable for use as surfactants with a rinse aid function (rinse aid surfactant). The term “oxidized” relates to a sulfur atom in a thioether which may exist in oxidized form as sulfoxide (SO) or sulfonyl (SO 2 ). The invention also relates to certain oxidized thioethers of polyalkylene oxides.
