The present invention relates to an improved formulation for transdermal delivery of a botulinum toxin. Such formulations include, for example, a botulinum toxin conjugated by non-covalent association with a positively charged backbone having a branching group or an efficiency group. The formulation also includes a partitioning agent, a oligo-bridge, a polyanion bridge, and optionally, a viscosity modifier. The formulation is designed for topical application onto the skin of a patient and can be used to treat wrinkles, hyperhidrosis and other health-related problems. A kit for administration is also disclosed. |
