The present invention comprises culturing mesenchymal stem cells in a culture medium containing 2.1 to 3.8 mM calcium and 1.0 to 3.0 mM magnesium under 2 to 5% hypoxia conditions. In relation to the present invention, the culturing method of the present invention can increase the proliferative capacity and viability of mesenchymal stem cells as compared to the general culturing method, and thus there is an advantage that a large number of mesenchymal stem cells can be obtained even with a small number of passages. In addition, the mesenchymal stem cells obtained by the culturing method of the present invention do not exhibit immunogenicity, so that they can be used more safely as cell therapeutics, and have excellent cytokine secretion ability, and thus can be usefully used as therapeutic agents for cartilage regeneration. |
