The present invention is characterized in that the pores are formed by dipping in the water and extracting the pore-forming agent after drying the support on which the polymer solution containing the engineering plastic (EP) and the pore-forming agent is applied as a base material. A method of preparing a separator for an electrochemical device, and a separator for an electrochemical device having excellent mechanical strength and heat resistance prepared therefrom, wherein the separator has a tensile strength of about 100 MPa or more and excellent heat resistance. |
