The present invention is useful for searching for biomarkers associated with any disease or condition. These diseases and conditions range from the neurological diseases, autoimmune diseases and cancers identified above, as well as other diseases or conditions with biomarkers such as antibodies or other characterized proteins or biomolecules associated with disease or disease progression. Has The large ligand libraries of the present invention can transfer these peptoids or ligands to a microarray without having to use a few support members (eg, up to about 100,000) to search for these markers or before searching for a biological fluid. Without need, it can be used directly in biological fluids under appropriate experimental conditions and according to the methods re-cited herein. Ligand libraries can also be used to search for cell based receptors specifically related to specific cell surface markers. |
