abstract The present invention relates to a strain with increased resistance to organic solvents, and more particularly, strains in which fadR and marR genes are inactivated, in addition to strains having enhanced activity of acrR gene, a method of preparing the strains, It relates to a method for enhancing the growth of the strain in the presence of an organic solvent comprising the step of culturing the strain and to a method for producing a biofuel. The strain of the present invention is improved resistance to organic solvents, there is an advantage that can be produced in large quantities by increasing the production rate in producing biofuel. This may lead to an increase in alternative energy production rates.
