titleOfInvention | Odor Neutralization Composition |
abstract | The present invention provides a composition of (i) a salt of formula (I); And (ii) an odor neutralizing composition comprising an α, β-unsaturated carbonyl compound of formula II: Formula I R 1 R 2 R 3 R 4 N + X - (II) R 5 R 6 C = CR 7 C (= O) YR 8 In this formula, R 1, R 2, R 3 and R 4 are independently C 1 -4 alkyl, or selected from, R 1, R 2, R 3 and R 4 is a nitrogen-nitrogen is part of a pyridinium or imidazolinium ring with uranium -Can comprise an annular system containing; R 5, R 6, R 7 and R 8 are independently selected from hydrogen, and saturated, unsaturated, aromatic, cyclic, C 1 -10 minutes hydrocarbyl moiety which may be branched or unbranched, or an optionally substituted, R 5 , R 6 , R 7 and R 8 together may constitute a cyclic system; X − is a counterion characterized by its protonated form with an acidity constant (pKa) of 1 to 6; Y is oxygen or a single covalent bond, but when R 8 is hydrogen, Y is a covalent bond. The composition can be incorporated into consumer products and remove odors from the air or from the surface. |
