The suture anchor for anchoring the suture to the bone includes a distal end with a bisected tip forming a suture engagement slot, a proximal end, a longitudinal axis between the distal and proximal ends, and two substantially extending between the distal and proximal ends. A flat surface, the two substantially flat surfaces are substantially parallel, the two substantially flat surfaces are separated by a thickness of about 2.54 mm (0.1 inch) or less, and the two substantially flat surfaces are about 10.2 mm ( 0.4 inch) or less along the axis orthogonal to the longitudinal axis. |
