Thermally Conductive and Electrically Insulating Polymer Compositions Comprising Low Thermally Conductive Fillers and Their Uses |
abstract |
Herein is a. 35 to 80 vol% thermoplastic polymer; b. Low thermal conductivity, electrically insulating fillers of 5 to 45 vol% having an intrinsic thermal conductivity of 10 to 30 W / mK; c. 2 to 15 vol% high thermal conductivity, electrically insulating filler with an intrinsic thermal conductivity of at least 50 W / mK; And d. Discloses a composition comprising 2 to 15 vol% high thermally conductive, electrically conductive filler having an intrinsic thermal conductivity of at least 50 W / mK; The composition is a composition having the following characteristics: i. Thermal conductivity of at least 1.0 W / mK; ii. Volume resistivity greater than 10 7 ohm.cm. The present disclosure also discloses articles and methods of use for the same. |
