abstract |
A fusion chamber for an inertial enclosed fusion power plant is disclosed. The chamber includes regions for the flow of coolant around the exterior of the chamber, with compartments of high temperature resistant metal alloys such as tungsten and vanadium containing tin or other materials with desired neutron interaction properties. Tin can be inserted or removed to increase or decrease the thermal energy output and to increase or decrease the corresponding neutron growth rate. |
