Amphiphiles of the general formula (I), methods for their preparation and uses are provided below. Amphiphiles of the invention can be used to solubilize poorly water-soluble active ingredients in agrochemical formulations. (I) In this formula, Each R 1 is independently selected from H, C 1 -C 10 -alkyl and the like; Each R 2 is independently selected from C 2 -C 5 -alkylene, wherein at least 50 mol% of C 2 -alkylene are present; n is 1 to 200; m is 1 to 6; q is 0 to 50; R p is a nonpolar or polar polymer; R d is a nonpolar or polar dendron. |
