The present invention relates to a method for producing a cyclic olefin copolymer, and more particularly, in the production of a copolymer of a cyclic olefin compound, a ring capable of producing a cyclic olefin copolymer in a high yield while suppressing formation of a gel. A method for producing a type olefin copolymer. According to the present invention, not only the cyclic olefin polymer can be easily produced by a simple process, but also a catalyst is prepared by mixing an inexpensive tungsten-based compound with an organoaluminum halide compound and an amine-based compound, thereby producing no gel. The cyclic olefin polymer can be produced in high yield, so that an economic effect can be obtained. |
