abstract An object of the present invention is to provide not only various protective films but also cationic polymerizable adhesives having excellent adhesive strength with respect to acrylic resin films, and polarizing plates obtained using the same. The present invention provides an aromatic glycidyl ether (A), an oxetane compound (B) having two or more oxetanyl groups, an alicyclic epoxy compound (C) represented by the following general formula (7), and a cationic polymerization initiator (D) As a cationically polymerizable adhesive agent containing, the said alicyclic epoxy compound (C) is used for the said oxetane compound (B) in 120-380 mass parts with respect to 100 mass parts of said aromatic glycidyl ethers (A). It uses in the range of 15-280 mass parts, It is related with the cationically polymerizable adhesive agent, and the polarizing plate obtained by bonding a polarizer and a protective film using it.
